The primary reason I wanted to go the The Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium was to get a taste of some bugs—literally! There weren’t any tastings while we were there, but it was still super fun. It’s inside a federal building so security is unusually intense for a bug museum, and a lot of the displays were geared towards children, but we loved it.

This little guy was hard at work and we watched him cut the whole leaf piece and carry it away. He caught our attention because his friend next to him dropped his leaf!

The best was the at the end, in the Butterfly Room!
